List View Page Price, Cost & Quantity Updates

In this release, we’ve made a number of improvements to how we represent price, cost, and quantities in the List View page.

Our intent was to re-organize elements of the List View page to simplify the UI, streamline the process of keeping track of quote details for each quantity break, and to make it easier to understand how these fields relate to each other.

In addition to these benefits, we will be introducing a new dedicated Cost field for each line item break as well as a new ability to add one-time Custom Fees for each line item break.

List View Table Updates

Significant improvements were made to the List View Table user interface.

The dedicated Datasheet column to the right of the Quoted column was removed but the datasheets continue to be accessible via the Part Intelligence Side Panel:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 8.56.53 AM.png

The dedicated Manufacturer column has also been removed. The following corresponding updates have been made to ensure the existing information and functionality is retained:

  • Manufacturer Names now display in the Quoted column
  • No Match Found and No Exact Match appear in the Quoted column
  • The Last Pick button also now appears in the Quoted column as well

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 8.58.51 AM.png

The big update that we introduced is displaying dedicated columns for each quantity break in the List View Table:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.00.08 AM.png

Each dedicated column contains the following features:

  • Requested Quantities
  • Quote Quantity
  • Quote Price, Target Price Badge, Price Expiration Badge
  • New Quote Cost field & Standard Cost Badge
  • GP%
  • New ability to add one-off Custom Fees for each quantity break
  • Applied Fees
  • Extended Price
  • Suggested Qty
  • Suggested Price & Price Badge
  • Suggested Cost

Requested Quantities now appear at the top of each Quantity column:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.02.27 AM.png

Users can click into Requested Quantity values to open the Requested Quantity modal and update as needed:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.02.43 AM.png

Quote Quantities are the quantities your users will quote their customers. This field appears underneath Req. Qty:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.04.21 AM.png

These Quote Quantities correspond with the following fields from the old List View Table design:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.04.38 AM.png

These three features will appear in line with each other:

  • Quote Price
  • Target Price Badge
  • Price Expiration Badge

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.07.35 AM.png

These features correspond with the following features from the old List View Table design:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.07.49 AM.png

Hovering over the Target Price Badge will show a similar tooltip and clicking into the Target Price Badge will open up the same Target Price side panel from the old design:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.09.08 AM.png

Hovering over the Pricing Expiration Badge will show the same tooltip and clicking the badge for lines with expired pricing will restart the pricing expiration date counter like it does in the old design as well:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.10.06 AM.png

Users now have access to a new Cost field in each Quantity column:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.11.09 AM.png

Upon initial upload of your line items, this field is populated based on the calculated Suggested Cost (shown at the bottom of each Quantity column).

In addition, users now have the ability to directly edit cost at the line item level. When cost is updated, GP% will automatically be changed to reflect the new margin (only when Quote Price exists).

If you click into the Suggested Cost badge, users will now see a new Standard Cost side panel where you can view all costs that are associated with the part you are quoting. If you need to quote a new cost, you can also click the Quote Cost button and choose the breaks you want to apply the new cost to:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.12.33 AM.png

GP% in this new design:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.13.40 AM.png

Corresponds with this GP% field in the old design:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.13.50 AM.png

Note that GP% only appears when Cost exists for your line items. When GP% is updated, Price automatically changes to reflect the correct margin.

In this release, we also introduced the ability to add one-off Custom Fees for each quantity break.

To add a Custom Fee, click on + Add Custom Fee. When you do so, a new field appears where you can type in your one-time fee for your quantity break:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.15.05 AM.png

Note that only discrete dollar values are supported as of now, but percentage-based fees (based on extended price) will be supported in future releases. Also, all Custom Fees will be added to Extended Price.

When Custom Fees are added, they can be viewed by clicking into Applied Fees:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.16.10 AM.png

This side panel shows all other applied fees for the breaks in your line item, similar to the old design:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.16.42 AM.png

Extended Price in the new design is calculated in the same way (Quote Price x Quote Quantity):

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.17.27 AM.png

And corresponds with the following fields from the old design:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.17.37 AM.png

Suggested Qty is calculated in the same way as the old design (based on requested quantity, MOQ, MPQ) but will not be editable, and is shown at the bottom of each Quantity column:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.18.56 AM.png

These fields correspond with the following Suggested Qty fields from the old design:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.19.17 AM.png

Suggested Price is calculated in the same way as the old design (based on Suggested Quantity & Pricing Engine rules) but will not be editable, and is shown at the bottom of each Quantity column:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.20.31 AM.png

These fields correspond with the following Suggested Price fields from the old design:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.20.40 AM.png

Note that Suggested Prices are used to populate the initial Quote Price by default when line items are uploaded into your list:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.21.58 AM.png

Suggested Price Badges are also supported in the new design. However, CPQ only displays the price source that is currently in use for the Suggested Price.

Hover over Suggested Price badges to view Price Explanation Tooltips:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.22.09 AM.png

Click into them to see the Suggested Price modal:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.23.27 AM.png

Suggested Cost is calculated in the same way as the old design (based on Suggested Quantity and available Standard Cost breaks) but is not editable, and is shown at the bottom of each Quantity column:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.24.04 AM.png

These fields were not easily viewable in the old List View Table design, so this update improves the ability to understand what cost is recommended by the system for each line item.

Note that Suggested Costs is used to populate the initial Cost by default when line items are uploaded into your list:

CPN Notes In Quoted Details Side Panel

CPQ now shows CPN Notes in the Quoted Details Side Panel so users can more easily access them in the quoting process.

When CPN Notes are available for a part (see CPN information in the Customer Details page):

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.37.27 AM.png

And the CPN record is loaded into a line item, CPQ displays any existing notes in the following location:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.37.37 AM.png

CPN Notes can be updated for both Modify and Custom Part Creation use cases.

Expanded CPN Suggestions Lookup

CPN Suggestions now search using both requested and quoted part numbers to provide more comprehensive results.

Previously, CPN Suggestions were only searched using Requested Part Numbers:

  • Requested CPN
  • Requested MPN
  • Requested IPN

Now, CPN Suggestions are also searched using Quoted Part Numbers:

  • Quoted CPN
  • Quoted MPN
  • Quoted IPN

This increases the likelihood of finding relevant customer part number matches when quoting line items in the List View page:

Quotes Page Search Improvements

Users can now search for part numbers from the Quotes page to quickly find previous quotes containing specific parts. This feature helps users locate prior quoting instances for repeat business, quote renewals, or reference purposes.

This feature is available within the following tabs in the Quotes page and all search results will be restricted to the lists that belong to the tab you are viewing:

Quotes Tab:

  • All Quotes
  • My Quotes

Tasks Tab:

  • My Tasks
  • Team Tasks

Use the search dropdown and select the criteria you’d like to search by:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.44.12 AM.png

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.44.24 AM.png

When you complete your search, results will show quotes that contain the searched term:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.45.18 AM.png

When you click on a quote from search results, the system will automatically open the quote and filter to show only line items matching your search term:

Screenshot 2025-10-20 at 9.46.04 AM.png

Note that partial matches are supported for Quote Name and Customer search criteria, but only exact matches are supported for all other search criteria at this time.
