It can includes categories like "Domestic" (indicating sales within the local market) and "Export" (indicating international sales). This functionality can help you manage logistics, compliance, pricing strategies, and customer-specific requirements that vary by region.
Sales Channel will appear in multiple places, such as the following locations:

- Quote Settings - Quote Info Tab
- Quote Info Section Of List View Page

You can configure Quantity Breaks within the Quote Preferences section. This allows you to choose up to six quantity (price breaks) that you want to support and then click Save to finalize any changes. The default value for quantity breaks is set to three.
The Autofill Quote Price feature when active will automatically prefill quote prices with suggested prices in your quotes. Toggle it to the right to activate the feature.
The External Suggestions feature, when active, uses Supplyframe Intelligence to provide additional electronics component suggestions that may not exist in your Catalog. Toggle it to the right to activate the feature.
Quote Statuses
The purpose of this section is to allow you to configure your Quote Statuses. For new CPQ module customers, the default statuses will be:
- New
- In Progress
- Quoted
- Closed
All additional statuses must be configured by the admin here in the System Settings page. New and copied quotes will default to the status that has "Default" selected. When updating a quote with a status of Closes Quote, then it will lock the respective quote. For this example below, if the default quote statuses are used, a new quote will automatically be assigned the "New" status upon creation.
When creating new statuses, specify the name of the status and the Color of its icon. Choose if you'd like this status to populate by "Default" when new quotes are created and specify whether this status should close the quote when assigned,. Then click on Save to finish.
To remove a status, click on the trash can to the far right of the row. The status marked as "Default" can not be removed. You will need to select a different status to be the new default, and then you can remove that status.
Quote Types
As an admin, you have the ability to create custom Quote Types that can be assigned to quotes created by users of Internal Sales.
More information is available in this article about "Configuring Quote Types".
Quote Reasons
You can create custom Quote Reasons, which allows admins to configure the following fields:
- Quote Reason - Short description of the reason.
- Default - Identifies the Quote Reason that is pre-selected and assigned to new quotes if the user does not make a selection. There can be only one reason designated as "Default".
- Active - In order to guarantee data integrity, a Quote Reason that is in use currently is not deletable. Instead, the administrator can mark a Quote Reason as Active if it is available for use, or de-select if not available for use.
- Sort Order - Allows admins to specify the order in which Quote Reasons will display in the Quote Reason dropdown.
More information is available in this article about "Configuring Quote Reasons".
Line Item Statuses
Admins have the ability to configure Line Item Statuses. The default application settings for line item statuses are the following:
- In Progress - This status is applied to all newly uploaded line items by default.
- In Review
- Complete
More information is available in this article about "Configuring Line Item Statuses".

More information is available in this article about "Exporting Your Quote".
Pricing Engine
Global Pricing Rules
Global Pricing Rules are a set of configurable rules that act as the default pricing mechanism when quoting customer accounts that do not have Customer Specific Pricing Rules.
More information is available in this article about "Global Pricing Rules (Admin)".
Customer Specific Rules
Customer Specific Pricing Rules are pricing rules that apply to specific customer accounts.
More information is available in this article about "Customer Specific Pricing (Admin)".
Pricing Expiration
When needed, you can specify if the pricing in the quote is only valid for a specific period, after which the pricing will expire. You can configure the pricing expirations within the Pricing Expiration section.
To configure a pricing expiration timeframe, you can input any number of days a person will have until pricing is expired in the "Number of Days" field. The number of days includes both weekdays and weekends, similar to "Days to Complete" for "Auto-Assignments".
Additional Fees
The Additional Fees feature allows you to create automated rules that apply extra charges based on specific configurable criteria. This feature improves your pricing process by automatically including additional fees—such as handling charges, special service fees, or custom duties—when certain conditions are met, ensuring that all applicable fees are accurately reflected in quotes.
Click on Add Rule when needing to create new additional fees. You will need to specify its Name, select the specific Condition, enter the Fee amount, select the Type, and check the box if there's to be a set time Duration. Then click on Add Fee to finish and save your new fee.
The Type of condition can specify if it should "Add to extended price only" or "Do not use for calculations". Then the Duration allows you to set the Starting and Ending date parameters. When you leave "Start" unchecked, then it will have no starting date. Leaving "End" unchecked means that the condition will last indefinitely.
Automation
Auto-Assignments
The Auto-Assignments feature allows you to set up automation rules that automatically assign a user or team to line items when certain configured criteria are met. Auto-Assignments operate at the line item level, not at the quote level, and users or teams are auto-assigned in the following scenarios:
- When parts are uploaded or manually added to quotes
- When line items are refreshed
- When line item criteria like the quoted part, prices, requested quantities, lead times, etc. change
More information is available in this article about "Auto Assignments (Admin)".
Approvals Workflow
The Approval Workflow is an optional feature that sets status and transitions through line items. Only one workflow can be created within your organization, and when your workflow is applied, it will affect all quotes created within your company's CPQ.
More information is available in this article about "Approvals Workflow (Admin)".
Customers
Customers Management
Within your Customer Management settings, you can create "Customer Self-Service" invitation codes for your customers. During the registration process, self-service users can link their accounts to specific customer organizations by entering invitation codes. These invitation codes are automatically generated but can also be customized if needed. In addition, you can assign an internal sales rep for self-service users to work directly with.
