Troubleshooting Tips

To avoid errors while using the Create New Quote feature, we recommend that you follow the tips below.

1. Remove All Formatting

For example, when working with excel file types:mceclip0.png

Highlight all cells in your file, select Edit, then Clear, then select Formats:

All formatting such as cell colors, font sizes, and font types will be removed. Save and use this new file in your next upload attempt:

2. Copy & Paste Values Into A New File

Try highlighting all content in your RFQ file, copying, and pasting just the values into a new excel sheet.

When highlighting RFQ file content, only highlight the column headers and line items (rows 5-31 in the example below):

Create a new file:

3. Remove All Rows Above Column Header

Ensure that your column headers start on the first row of your file. Delete any rows located above your intended header row (eg. rows 1-4 highlighted below). Supplyframe CPQ reads your headers to determine automatic mapping of your columns in the Mapping step.mceclip8.png

4. Remove Double Quotes

Double quotes may cause issues with reading your file. Remove all double quotes and try uploading your file again:
