When you create new quotes in Supplyframe CPQ, you have the ability to define and save how the system maps columns from your RFQ files into our solution for specific customer accounts.

Once configured, the system will remember and automatically apply your column header mapping in the mapping step of the new quote creation process.

To save this mapping to customer accounts, you must first specify a customer or end customer in the Info step of Create New Quote.

After your customer account details have been specified, you can configure your desired column mapping in the Mapping step.

Once you have finalized the mapping you would like to associate with your customer account, just check the box to "Save column mapping for this customer" in the top left of the page and proceed with the rest of the quote creation process.

The next time another quote is uploaded for the same customer account, the system will automatically apply the saved column mapping.

If you would like to change the mapping configuration and update your preference for this customer account, the next time you create a new quote, make sure to:

  • Add the same customer account in the Info step.
  • Change your column mapping in the Mapping step.
  • Select the "Save column mapping for this customer" checkbox.
  • Then complete the rest of the steps in the Create New Quote process.
